✅ You can find a local food and many restaurants or bars on the promenade with a reasonable prices. Furthermore, if you prefer cooking at home you have several supermarkets very close with a good selection of local ingredients

✅ 10 mins walking distance along the beach promenade from the Surf Hostel where you have free access to meet other travelers and have a nice chat with them on the rooftop

✅ Proximity to all kinds of shops, bars and restaurants. You don’t have to rent a car, but if you decide to do so, there is a parking garage which is 5 mins by walk.

✅ The old town of Vegueta and the Triana region are about 4 kilometers away from the Private Studios in Las Palmas. You can go there by bus or bike. Vegueta is the historical center of the city with museums, sights and it is an authentic Canarian quarter.

Rent a bike or electric scooter

Activities in Gran Canaria

Our staff from FEEL Surf Camp Las Palmas can organize different activities weekly:

✅ Outdoor tapas tour in the old town of Vegueta every Thursday evening. It’s the ideal place to soak up the atmosphere of the locals in Las Palmas, where several bars and restaurants offer a gastronomic offer of tapas and pinchos (between 2€ and 3€ each, including a drink).

✅ Theme evening in the Surf Hostel such as “Tacos Night”

✅ Eventually we organize barbecue nights at the Hostel

✅ Live music concerts on our neighborhood, we usually join Wednesday’s life music

✅ El Confital: the prettiest natural vulcano area of the city where you can join us for a hike

✅ Old town of Vegueta where you can visit old canary houses like Casa Colón, the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo, el Museo Canario, etc…
